Julien Robson

Director


Julien Robson is Director of Great Meadows Foundation and Director of the Mary and Al Shands Art Preserve. Trained as an artist at Bath Academy of Art and the Slade School of Fine Art, Robson has held curatorial positions at the John Hansard Gallery at the University of Southampton (1984-1989), Speed Art Museum, Louisville, Kentucky (2000-2008) and Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts Museum (2008-2012). During the 1990s Robson worked in the commercial gallery sector in Vienna, Austria. He has held teaching positions at UCSB (1998-1999) and University of Louisville (2000-2008) and currently serves on the Board of the International Association of Curators of Contemporary Art (IKT). From 2012 to 2022 he was the curator of the collection of the late Alfred R Shands in Louisville, Kentucky.

Lindsey Cummins

Lindsey Cummins (she/her/hers) is a Louisville, KY-based Independent Curator and Collections Advisor. Through AVID Collectors LLC, she strives to impact local arts communities by uplifting artists, patrons, and private collections. Lindsey serves as Director’s Assistant at Great Meadows Foundation. In 2020, Lindsey Co-Founded Printed, a community arts collective and zine project. Printed’s mission is to connect and inspire Louisville creatives through print. Lindsey received her education at Louisville’s Hite Art Institute with a degree in Studio Art, Art History, and Modern Culture. She currently serves on the Board of the Portland Museum and is a member of the International Association of Curators of Contemporary Art (IKT).
